A gentle, refreshing aroma rises, with a soft hint of mint that delicately lifts and brightens the nose, without being overpowering.

After the first sip, everyone exclaimed,

“Wow—this is delicious.”

Blackberry and black plum, a hint of cold, fresh milk, and a touch of cinnamon.

There’s also spiciness, including black pepper and licorice.

That cooling, menthol-like sensation comes through again.

The flavors and aromas are bold and structured.

Tannin: ●●●◐○

From the very first sip, acidity, tannin, and sweetness all tighten in the mouth.

Berry flavors, licorice, and dried plum finish cleanly, leaving the mouth refreshed.

Despite the noticeable tannins, the fresh acidity and moderate sweetness make it very tasty.

Slightly chilled, almost like a white wine, it’s refreshing to drink.

The fruit aromas become richer over time.

Dried plum, nectarine, strawberry jam, raspberry juice, hints of red rose petals, and some nutty notes appear.

Even though it’s a red wine, I kept thinking of tuna sashimi while drinking.

It has tannins and weight, yet it would pair very well with tuna sashimi or beef tartare.

Lamb and beef short ribs, herbed lamb, or for something lighter, salty and savory potato chips also come to mind.
