After letting it sit for about 15 minutes after opening, the first sip brings a nuance of black currant.
The high acidity really stimulates the salivary glands.
Tannins are clear and fine, coating the mouth.
There are hints of licorice, black pepper, and cinnamon leather, but they are tightly packed and somewhat hidden by the high acidity.
At first, the wine even felt spicy.
It evokes an image of a forest where no light enters.
After 40 minutes,
Dark chocolate and cinnamon notes gradually become softer, and as the acidity calms, blackberry and cassis nuances emerge.
It’s good to drink right away, but it’s even better to let it open for 30–40 minutes and enjoy it slowly.
