Lingering flavors of yogurt, lemon juice over butter, and gentle vanilla bean.
As time passes, the aroma of Reggiano cheese becomes more pronounced.
At this point, a hint of strawberry also comes to mind.
After 40 minutes:
The cheese and vanilla notes blend beautifully.
Having tried other vintages, regions, and classifications of Chardonnay from this producer, I was often left wanting more despite the reputation.
However, this wine is quite good. With its approachable price, it stands out as one of the best options among affordable Bourgogne Chardonnays available these days.
