F Negroamaro Salento 2021
Raw tobacco, black earth, and water-soaked wood.
A salty seaweed note reminiscent of kelp.

First sip:
Feels like eating mint chocolate alongside raw nori. A truly unique impression.
Salty kelp freshly pulled from the sea.
Hints of underripe plum and kiwi skin.

Strangely, the wine feels slightly sweet while held in the mouth, but that sweetness vanishes suddenly after swallowing, leaving the mouth quite dry.
Initially seemed low in tannins, but over time, a dense and grippy texture builds up in the mouth.
After about 15 minutes,
the aroma grows noticeably sweeter, while the seaweed character nearly disappears.
After around 1 hour, the fruit becomes more intense, evoking dried raisins.
Licorice lingers in the empty glass, while the full glass reveals graphite notes.
Black pepper, clove, and dark chocolate also emerge.
This wine strongly evokes marine and seaweed-like character.
As time passes, the classic Puglia Negroamaro identity grows clearer.
Best served slightly chilled and allowed to breathe for at least 15–20 minutes before drinking.
